Increase your visibility by ensuring you have embedded keywords into your text.
When users utilise the Keywords search filter, the system searches for the exact phrase they have entered. Therefore it is important that you include important words or phrases that summarise/describe your training within the body of text you create for the QTP.
The keyword search is informed by text in the following sections-

If you anticipate people searching for it, it needs to be in your text!
The Professional Development team attended FitPro Live 2014 last month in London
FitPro Live, for the first time being hosted at the ExCel Centre in London’s Docklands, is one of the UK foremost fitness conventions and attracted hundreds of fitness instructors and industry leaders alike. The event was held on the 18th and 19th July and also hosted – again for the first time – the Register of Exercise Professionals’ (REPs) South East Convention.
Several Endorsed Providers took advantage of the offer FitPro had made to SkillsActive to provide exhibition space at a reduced rate and several more were involved in presenting during the convention itself. SkillsActive attends a large number of the UK’s prominent industry events across its seven sub-sectors and at some offers the chance for Endorsed Providers to exhibit at a reduced cost. Anyone interested in doing so can email firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
The REPs Convention was well received by its members and also by the Endorsed Providers who presented their endorsed training in the educational sessions. These conventions occur throughout the year and across the country. Anyone who would potentially like to present a session at one of these events can email email@example.com in the first instance.
Clubbercise is a fresh new dance fitness brand currently expanding rapidly throughout the UK due to high demand from the general public. Classes are taught in a darkened room with disco lights and glow sticks which as well as being fun also makes people feel more comfortable and confident than the usual studio environment.
Back in 2013 we spent time researching the dance fitness market and found that the quality of both training and classes varies considerably. To us quality is a priority and we want everyone who participates in a Clubbercise class to have a similar experience no matter where they are in the world.
In early 2014 the team at SkillsActive gave us all the support we needed to develop our training course and award 6 REPs CPD points to our trainees.
People with their Exercise to Music Level 2 qualification are automatically accepted onto the Clubbercise instructor training course and all of our trainers meet the required standards set by SkillsActive.
Working with SkillsActive and the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) is a way for us to ensure that our trainers and instructors are all at a similar level.
A high proportion of the instructors who train with us come via SkillsActive/REPs so we’ll definitely continue to work with them in the future as we release new training modules.
We have again managed to negotiate a reduced rate for Endorsed Providers looking to take up a 2x2m pod for the price of £1300 + VAT. For further details please contact Sophie.McKimm@ubm.com or call 020 7955 3965.
Ensure you contact us beforehand to book a meeting at LIW to discuss business development opportunities as we always have great ways to increase your marketing reach as well as fully discuss all of the business opportunities that you could be missing out on. If you’d like to book a meeting with us email firstname.lastname@example.org
